- Bids are being solicited under solicitation number W55RN380650001. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this notice. If bidding with a GSA Schedule, the requested items must be on that Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the Seller's name or the Seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-05-08 14:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be FORT RILEY, KS 66442 The USA ACA Fort Riley requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, Cleaner sewer, trailer mounted, manufacturer: Sewer Equipment of America model: 747-300r trailer jet, to include; fe myers water pump (65 gpm/2000 psi), caterpillar turbo diesel engine (110 hp), 700 gallon black super-polym water tank system, rotating safety hose reel with 500i x 1m sewer hose capacity, fill system, recirculation system, lighted control panel with nema 4 enclosure, tachometer, hour meter, auto-shutdown (for high water temp/low oil pressure), steel shrouded engine/water pump compartment with locking access doors, tandem axle with electric brakes, 2-5/16" ball hitch, steel toolbox, i.c.c. lighting, 25' leader hose, air purge system, and standard nozzle & accessory package, engine/pump options: drain valves for water pump, hydraulic pressure gauge, hose reel/hose options: automatic level wind with hydraulic up/down action, digital "smart counter" footage meter, 500 feet of sewer hose (1 i.d., 2500 p.s.i. operating pressure, mini-missile nozzle, nozzle rack, tool storage options: hose guide/wash-down gun/upstream pulley guide storage tray, lighting options: strobe light (factory standard), plug-in spotlight, paint (jet unit): standard white paint, trailer options: spare tire and rim, power jack, chip guard coating, nozzles included (as standard with each unit): tri-star (chisel point) nozzle & hw (high flow) nozzle, note: two (2) sets of nozzles included (4 total) with dual hose reel units, accessories included (as standard with each unit): finned nozzle extension, bb hose guide, 25i fill hose, wash-down gun with 25' extension hose, upstream pulley guide, and paper owner's manual., 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Fort Riley intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Fort Riley is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Sellers may not artificially manipulate the price of a transaction on www.FedBid.com by any means.
