- The Va North Texas Health Care System, 4500 S. lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Abiomed, Inc., 22 Cherry Hill Drive, Danvers, MA 01923 for the preventive maintenance and repair service of a AB5000 Processor-Blood Cell, a heart-lung bypass unit. The period covered is May 16, 2008 through September 30, 2008. Parties capable of providing this service myst respond in writing to the Contracing Officer listed in this announcement by 4:30 pm local time, May 7, 2008. This is nor a request for proposals. No solicitation will be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
