Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to demolish six (6) structures at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA 93928 in strict accordance with the Statement of Work. The structures include a 60,000 gallon metal water storage tank with lead paint that must be abated, a 4517 sq foot building with approx 6,400 sq ft of asbestos wall board and 665 sq ft of asbestos resilient floor tile and mastic that must be abated and four underground bunkers with lead paint that must be abated prior to demolition. The period of performance is sixty (60) days after notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code, SIC code and size standard for this procurement are 238910/1795, $13,000,000.00. This acquisition will be set aside for small businesses per FAR 19.5. Only one award shall be made. Interested small businesses can view and download the bid package which will be numbered W9124N08B0004 from fedbizzops (www.fbo.gov) in approximately 15 days (on or around May 16, 2008) The bid opening date has not been established at this time but will be annotated in the final released Invitation for Bid.
