- This notice is being published in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to BlueCat Networks. BlueCat Networks' system is upgradeable. Additionally, the system provides for remote software updates. Further BlueCat Networks product is compatible to customer's current equipment and to use other products will be cost and time prohibitive. Therefore it is intended an order to be placed with Bluecat Networks for the following: Adonis 250 DNS caching appliance, Adonis 250 Platinum Support and 1 year maintenance, shipping charge, Adonis 750 DNS / DHCP appliance, Adonis 750 platinum support and 1 year maintenance, Adonis XMB DNS / DHCP appliance, Adonis XMB platinum support and 1 year maintenance, professional services consulting and installation for 1 day and shipping charge, Proteus 5000 IPAM appliance and Proteus 5000 Platinum support and 1 year maintenance, professional services on-site training for 2 days and shipping charge. BlueCat Networks developed the Adonis family of secure DNS and DHCP solution and they retain all proprietary rights to the product. As a result BlueCat Networks is the only responsible source to provide the necessary accessibility to the product, program source code, procedural knowledge, and the expertise in the software support.
