- The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract to procure, Brand Name Specific, 3 each Miraphone Model 1291 Professional BB-Flat Tubas and 1 each Meinl Weston CC Tuba, Model 5430 Thor Professional for the School of Music located at the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek in Norfolk, Virginia. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 13.1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The requested delivery date is no later than 30 June 2008, but offerors should list their best delivery date in their quotes. The North American Industry Classification System code is 451140 (Musical Instrument and Supplies Stores). Note that these tubas are being solicited and procured as Brand Name Specific to the manufacturers, Miraphone and Meinl Weston. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http: www.fedbizopps.gov as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. The Solicitation Number is N00189-08-T-0281. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
