- NOTE: Any prospective Offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at www.fedbizopps.gov Description of work: BRAC AIRCRAFT PARTS STORAGE Construct an addition to Building 4810 for storing and issuing aircraft parts. Addition will be approximately 9100 SF consisting of concrete footings, structural steel frame, reinforced masonry walls, standing seam metal roof, HVAC and a fire protection system. ADDITION AND ALTERATIONS TO MAINTENANCE SHOP: Construct and addition to and renovate Building 4908 for maintenance of the AGE and survival equipment shops. Addition will be approximately 3000 SF consisting of concrete footings, structural steel frame, reinforced masonry walls, standing seam metal roof, HVAC and a fire protection system and the renovation will be approximately 2500 SF of existing. This project will be solicited on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 with a hub-zone evaluation preference. This proposal will be procured using a best value Performance Price Trade off Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (7) Part 15.101-1. Offerors are required to submit a price and technical proposal. Each proposal shall contain the Offerors best technical proposal and best price. PRICE is equal in importance to ALL TECHNICAL FACTORS when combined. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Options may be included. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. To locate solicitations, Contractors can go to Fedbizopps and search for the solicitation number at www.fedbizopps.gov. Contractors can register to be put on a plan holders list that others can access through the Fedbizopps site. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 15 May 2008 Notification of amendments will be through the Fedbizopps site. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
