- This is a Sources Sought Notice- This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought solicitation. Respondents will not be notified of results. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this solicitation. The Federal Protective Service (FPS), which is an Element of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is soliciting information from potential sources and seeking qualified Business’ who posses the capability and experience to provide 24x7 maintenance support for two (2) Nortel Norstar phone systems that provide phone service to the DHS ICE FPS Battle Creek MegaCenter. The Battle Creek MegaCenter has two identical Nortel Norstar ICS 4.0 phone systems, one in which provides administrative phone service, and another and its associated phone instruments, provide mission telephone support integral to the operation of the Battle Creek MegaCenter's dispatch/operations center. The contractor shall provide 24x7 maintenance and repair support for the MegaCenter on the two Nortel Norstar Phone Systems. Support shall be provided in a combination of hands-on on-site support and dial-in support. The contractor shall complete a once annual preventive maintenance inspection of each Nortel Norstar Phone system throughout the course of the contract. The maintenance inspection shall be inclusive of each of the components/sub-components, software, and firmware, that compose the integrated whole of the Nortel System. All Nortel Norstar phone system software and firmware shall be upgraded to current version levels during the course of each annual preventative maintenance inspection. The contractor shall respond to failures requiring hands-on on-site support by being on site within two hours of notification of failure. The contractor shall respond to failures requiring dial-in support by dialing in within 30 minutes of notification of failure. The contractor shall provide the government with documentation, of changes/updates to the phone system, within 30 working days of completion of work.These duties will be performed and managed by a Program Manager and Technical Staff appointed by the contractor. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is for a base period of one year and with four one year options to extend. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 517919. Respondents are requested to submit a short Capability Statement that addresses your corporate experience/capability for handling this type of requirement.
