- Description
- This is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for the specified services for a three year period. Award will be made to multiple contractors as defined in the solicitation. This project consists of the removal of, or the mitigation of, hazards or potential hazards, as marked by the Government which may adversely affect all users of National Forest System Roads, Structures and Facilities either owned or operated by the United States Forest Service or a partnering agency thereof. Hazards may consist of, but are not limited to; boulders, stumps, downed woody debris, root wads, and Danger Trees. Where deemed necessary by the Government, Contractor shall provide pedestrian and vehicular traffic control to ensure the safety of all users of National Forest System Roads, structures and facilities within the work area and during the mitigation measures. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies, and perform all work required to maintain the facilities in accordance with drawings and specifications of the contract. This is a set-aside for HUB Zone contractors. However, if the Governement is unable to award to at least the minimum number of contractors specified in the solicitation at a fair and reasonable price, then Small Businesses not in HUB Zones will be considered.
