- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted) on RFQ reference number F3W3398105A001. Quotes shall be submitted in English language! All offerors shall be CCR registered in accordance with the CCR requirements at FAR 52.204-7 and DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt. A to be eligible for award. If ‘or equal' items are quoted, the offeror is required to submit the technical specifications along with the offer in accordance with FAR clause 52.211-6. (vi) Items will be delivered, installed and accepted at F.o.b. Destination (Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany). (vii) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers (listed in relative order of importance): (1) Technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government's requirement; (2) Price.
