- Description
- The Bay Pines Healthcare System anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide Design/Build Services to include preparation of reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services, and construction services for the removal of the existing windows, and the replacement with impact resistant (hurricane hardening) windows in Buildings1, 2, and 22 and the removal and replacement of the roof system on Building 2, Bay Pines, FL. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 28 April 2008 and proposals will be due on or about 12 June 2008. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET-ASIDE 100% TO ELIGIBLE SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS (SDVOSB). An organized pre-proposal site visit will be conducted. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov. No hardcopies will be available. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the Best Value to the Government. Proposals will be evaluated on technical, price and past performance. Design/Build performance period is 450 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for the procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $31,000,000.
