- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Seal Beach Division intends to award a sole source contract to Cutaway Creations, LLC, Fairfax, VA 22032-1504 for the following items: Transfer Box Case Cutaway with locking center differential on roll cart (1 EA); Rear Differential Cutaway with cutaway clutch style limited slip differential (1EA); AWD automatic Transaxle Cutaway with viscous center differential(1 EA); 6 Bolt PTO Cutaway mounted on table top stand (1 EA); Air Shift motor driven automatic transmission Cutaway. Display will have on board air supply as well as shop air hook up (1 EA); Shipping/Freight Charges (if applicable). All pieces will be finished with base coat clear coat urethane finish and color coated cut edges. All pieces will be custom mounted on individual Snap On roll carts. Required Delivery Date must be no later than December 2008. Delivery Point: Port Hueneme, CA 93043; The authority for this sole source action is U.S.C. 2304(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Agencys requirement. The required equipment must meet technical training curriculum requirements to teach troops on up to date chassis trainers that are controlled by electronics and hydraulics systems. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is not a request for proposals or a solicitation of offers. Interested source may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government in future requirements. The applicable NAICS code is 541990, and the size standard of 500 employees. See Note 22.
