- The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with L. N. Curtis and Sons to procure Qnty-28; Aluminized PBK/Kevlar 32 length proximity GX-7 Coats ( 70Z aluminized PBI Kevlar Shell, Caldura SL2 Liner, Crosstech PJ Moisture Barrier, Drag rescue device, Gray arashield cuff reinforcement, aluminized PBI-self material-reinforced elbows, PBI hand and wrist guards, 13PB radio pocket on left chest with antenna notch on left side and self mic strap & Qnty-28; Aluminized PBI/Kevlar GX-7 proximity Pants (70Z aluminized PBI Kevlar Shell, Caldura SL2 Liner, Crosstech PJ Moisture Barrier, Gray arashield cuff reinforcement, replaceable knees-self material- with frame 6 BIB, and H-Back suspenders), shipping chargers included under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The FSC code is 4210 and the NAICS code is 423850. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 29 APR 2008 with closing date of 12 MAY 2008. The solicitation documents maybe downloaded at the NECO Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The NECO website has a submit bid button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the submit bid button on NECO to submit your proposal. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vender is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
