- Description
- Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure the technical data package for the MC2000 Magnetic Compass Calibrator System from Firstmark Aerospace Corporation. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis with Firstmark Aerospace Corporation, 1176 Telecom Drive, Creedmoor North Carolina 27522-8294. Firstmark Aerospace Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and is the only source of procurement for this material. Firstmark owns the data rights to all the technical hardware and software information. The technical data package shall consist of all schematics, theory of operation, parts lists, illustrated parts breakdowns, adjustment procedures, software programming and code information necessary to troubleshoot the system and circuit cards down to the component level. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
