- Description
- The US Geological Survey has a requirement for the development of a Biological Data Management System which will provide a centralized data management capability for capturing, storing, and distributing USGS stream ecology data. The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, definite quantity, Cost Plus Award Fee type contract. The procurement is anticipated to be for a base year with four one-year option periods. This is not a follow-on effort. All responsible sources meeting the Government's requirement are invited to submit a proposal under the resulting solicitation. A formal solicitation, performance work statement, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet on or about 19 May 2008. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. No paper distribution of these documents will be provided. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 and the size standard is $23M. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. All questions and concerns may be submitted to the contracting officer via email only at jkelley@usgs.gov. This is not a request for proposals.
