Description
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive, commercial item contract with the Versa Management Systems, Inc. The title of the project is “Web-Based Licensing System Development.” Specifically, Versa will prepare its current Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product, LicenseEase, to meet the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and will ensure the COTS product provides the remaining, needed system features and functionality as defined in the WBL System Requirements. The final COTS implementation will be maintained pursuant to the April, 2006 License Agreement executed between the NRC and Versa. The Web-Based Licensing (WBL) system is a web-based interface for materials Licensees, and will replace, while improving upon, the functionality currently embodied in several of the NRC’s legacy systems, namely, the Licensing Tracking System (LTS), and the Inspection Planning System (IPS). The NRC intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a two year period of performance. No solicitation document exists. Interested firms should submit written responses that provide evidence of the respondent’s capability to perform the required services to Eleni.Jernell@nrc.gov, by no later than June 12, 2008. Capability statements that do not demonstrate evidence of the respondent’s ability to provide these services will not be considered.
