- Description
- The U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center, Southwest Operations Office has a requirement for Inline Network Encryptors (INE) to protect classified information transmitted through military and government networks. INEs are Internet Protocol (IP) data encryption devices that provide data confidentiality and integrity across LANs and WANs and certified by the National Security Agency (NSA) to protect information classified Top Secret Codeword and below. The Government anticipates award of multiple IDIQ or requirements contracts as a result of this single solicitation. The solicitation issue date is estimated to be on or about 9 May 2008. The response date above is estimated the actual proposal due date will be specified in the the solicitation and may be earlier or later than 9 June 2008 All INEs must be High Assurance IP Encryptors meeting the following criteria: (a) Interoperability Specification (HAIPE IS), (b) Crypto Modernization Compliant HAIPE IS v1.3.5, (c) Internet Protocol (IP) Configuration, and (d) NSA Type 1 certified. INEs required are: (1) NSN: 5810-01-547-4520, Tactical Local Area Network Encryptor (TACLANE") KG-175 MICRO, total estimated quantity (TEQ) 900 ea. (2) NSN: 5810-01-527-9340, KG-175A 1 GIGABIT IN-LINE NETWORK ENCRYPTOR WITH FIVE (5) YEAR HW AND SW WARRANTY, TEQ 125.. (3) NSN: 5810-01-524-6615, AltaSec KG 250 Network Encryptor, TEQ 300 ea. (4) NSN: 5810-01-546-4543, KOV 26 Token, TEQ 700 ea. (5) NSN: 5810-01-558-3251, KOV 26 TALON SOCOM Kit, TEQ 250 ea. (6) NSN: 5810-01-558-5539, KOV 26 TALON OFFICE Kit, TEQ 125 ea. (7) TACLANE Classic Trade In for TACLANE KG-175D MICRO, Manufacturers Code/part number (MC/PN): ETU-59102-1, TEQ 525 ea. (8) TACLANE E-100 Trade In for TACLANE KG-175D MICRO, MC/PN: UT-102-1, TEQ 525 ea. (9) TACLANE Mini Trade In for TACLANE KG-175D MICRO, MC/PN: MNU-89101-1, TEQ 225 ea. (10) Sectra INE Trade In for TACLANE KG-175D MICRO, MC/PN: INEUKIT-1, TEQ 175 ea. INEs will be shipped FOB destination to the location(s) identified in individual delivery orders. The delivery schedule will be identified in individual delivery orders and ranges from 30 days to 240 days after award of the delivery order. The period of performance is 15 August 2008 through 30 September 2008 with 4 prepriced 6 week option periods of 15 Aug 2009 through 30 September 2009, 15 Aug 2010 through 30 Sep 2010, 15 Aug 2011 through 30 Sep 2011, and 15 Aug 2012 through 30 Sep 2012. The performance period is limited to accommodate customer orders after the NSA IDIQ contracts cut-off date. This is an unrestricted acquisition.
