- Description
- The VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA has a requirement to Correct Electric Deficiencies in Buildings 38 & 39 at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to upgrade electrical in building 38 and 39. Upgrade the existing 800 AMP main distribution panels (MDP), 600A distribution panel board, panel and 200 AMP safety switch in the electrical vault in Bldg 38 and 39. Install new normal panels on the basement, first and second floor of Bldg 38 and 39 complete with new feeder and circuit breaker. New electric panels shall have main and branch circuit breakers active and spare of sufficient quantities in Bldg 38 and 39 to serve existing and future electric loads as required. The new work shall meet all applicable VA criteria, and National Electrical Codes. The work shall be completed within 365 days from Notice To Proceed. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code is 238210. The anticipated completion time for this project is 365 calendar days and the government estimated cost range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns capable of performing the required work. Drawings and specifications for Solicitation IFB VA-244-08-IB-0229 will be available for pick-up on a limited first come first serve basis on or about 05/13/2008 at a refundable cost of $100.00 per set, payable to the VA Medical Center, at the VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Building 19S, Coatesville, PA 19320. Drawings and specifications must be returned to the VA Medical Center, Coatesville, Pa no later than 06/30/2008 for refunds. There will be a pre-bid meeting and walk thru conducted on 05/20/2008 at 10:00 a.m. All interested bidders are to meet at Building 19 South at 10:00 a.m. All requests for information must be in writing and sent to the Contracting Officer by 3:00 p.m. on 05/23/2008. Sealed bids are due at the VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Building 19 South, 542/90C, Coatesville, Pa 19320 by 10:00 a.m. on 06/12/2008.
