- Solicitation - RFP VA-259-08-RP-0146 Department of Veterans Affairs - VA Montana Healthcare SystemPosted April 28, 2008 Due: May 22, 2008 POC: Contracting Officer Jeanne Plummer (406) 447-7886 Description: The VA Montana Healthcare System, Fort Harrison, Montana intends to procure all inclusive services for primary, preventive and mental health care for veterans in the Havre, Montana area. Planned care includes primary care with diagnostic associated with that level of care (lab, EKG, non-complex X-ray, basic wound care/suturing, removal of benign lesions, joint injections, and/or other office procedures provided in the primary care setting). Services will include primary care with diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. Ongoing care will include adherence to the current VA Performance Measures for Preventive Care and applicable Clinical Practice Guidelines. The interim contracting authority should mandate the use of VA's Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS). This proposed service is targeted to meet the needs of veterans living within the catchments areas. Havre, Montana is located 114 miles from Great Falls, MT. The Contractor will provide for all inclusive services for primary, preventive and mental health care to approximately 4,326 veterans. Contract must be located in the Havre area. Contract period will be one year from the date of award with a Government option to extend the term for 4 additional 1 - year option periods contingent upon funding.
