- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for metal finishing services for anodize stripping, abrasive blasting, masking, and re-anodizing of aluminum hardware for the Mark 48 Torpedo Fuel Tank. The contractor must have a demonstrated capability to perform the processes necessary to accomplish these tasks. This is a fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) N00253-08-T-0135 is attached to this announcement. Drawings can be download from Federal Business Opportunties at https://www.fbo.gov. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Federal Circulars 2005-24 are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332813 and has a size standard of 500. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The government requires FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation.
