- Description
- Item name Connector, Plug, Electrical for NSN 5935-01-470-6392. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract for items from the approved source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The approve sources are Deutsch engineered connecting (11139) P/N 73192-12-14S and McDonnell Douglas Helicpter (8V613) P/N HS4832B1214SN. This item will have a 100% option. The requested delivery is 180 days ADO. The FOB and inspection/acceptance is at destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of May 9, 2008 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. There will be various increments solicited: 100 each to 249 each, 250 each to 499 each and 500 each to 582 each. This will be an unrestricted RFP. The Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies and services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interests and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.”
