- The Solicitation number is here by changed to FA8524-08-R-20311 A firm fixed price requirements type contract: Basic with four options is contemplated.Item 0001: NSN: 4310-01-253-4928UC; Noun: Rotary Vacuum Pump; P/N: 68-335204; Basic Quantity: 5 ea, Opt 1: BEQ 5 ea, Opt II: BEQ 10 ea, Opt III: BEQ 10 ea, Opt IV: BEQ 10 ea; Function: Spares applicable to the C-5 aircraft; Delivery: On or Before 180 days ARO. FOB origin applies. Delivery will be to Robins AFB. The estimated issue date for the solicitation to www.FedBizOpps.gov will be 3-Apr-2008 with an estimated response date by 3-May-08, and an estimated award date by 12-27-May-08. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Award contemplated as Sole Source to Hydro-Aire, Inc (Cage 81982). Authority: 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Justification: initial spares buy, supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and in addition the government does not own the data rights for the items being solicited. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
