- NAICS CODE 336413 The Government held an industry brief at the Hope Hotel Conference Center, Area A, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Friday, 18 April 2008. The purpose of this brief was to provide an overview of the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program and its Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) stage, and to specifically highlight the framework of the embedded LRIP Source Familiarization Phase (SFP). Because the governments acquisition strategy has not been finalized, this briefing was for informational purposes only and was not an open forum for questions and answers. A copy of the briefing is attached. All questions pertaining to SFP or the briefing must be submitted in writing to the government's point of contact no later than 25 April 2008. The governments point of contact is Maj Shane Watson, (937) 656-9690, Michael.watson@wpafb.af.mil. As stated in our previous notification on PIXS, 29 Feb 08, target release date for our draft request for proposal (RFP) is scheduled for June 2008. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be conducted in the July/August 2008 timeframe. At that time industry feedback will be solicited on Performance Requirements and the Draft RFP.
