- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, New York, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 21103-046-8 for one 125 H.P. 3600 RPM submersible motor with 350 GPM @ 887 ft. TDH pump, to include delivery, installation and removal of existing pump. The Contracting Officer intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be required to remove the existing pump and install the new pump, which is an exact replacement. No prints are required for this replacement. All equipment will be installed in the exact location as the existing. A site visit will be available for interested vendors. The following will also be required: mobilization, set-up and pull pump, rework existing head/plug stuffing box, clean existing column pipe, furnish new pump setting, set new pump and test, hook-up discharge and replace well casing. The solicitation will be available on or about April 28, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information regarding this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most current information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The due date for receipt of quotes will be on or about May 20, 2008 at 1:00 pm, EST, at FCI Otisville, NY. The NAIC is 238290 and the size standard is $13,000,000.00. This solicitation will be issued as a small business set aside. Delivery and installation will occur at FCI Otisville, Two Mile Drive, Otisville, NY 10963, on federal prison grounds, outside the secure perimeter of the institution.
