- Description
- This is a synopsis for conference space facilities and services in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service seeks a conference facility that can provide services as outlined in the attached statement of work. The requirement is NAICS 722320 and the government will award an IDIQ fixed-price contract. The anticipated contract will be for one base year with four (4) option years. The use of the facility is for the purpose of holding an annual seminar and conference in order to provide financial education, information and services that have application to all Federal employees who have an occupational involvement in financial functions. The training and education services are available in the form of courses, seminars, and conferences on a reimbursable basis. An acceptable facility must: 1) accommodate up to 550 attendees for general and plenary sessions and luncheons; 2) provide space for a minimum of 3 break out rooms for 75 to 100 attendees in each room; 3) provide exhibitor space to accommodate at least 15 vendors; 4) provide a locale that is within the Washington, DC metropolitan area; 5) affirm that space is available for a seminar and conference to be held consecutively the second week in August of each year; and 6) provide additional items and/or services that include catering, audio/visual and ancillary. Parties interested in this procurement must submit a capability statement within seven (7) calendar days from the date of this notice and all contractors that meet the above capabilities will be issued the solicitation package. Submissions after that date will not be considered. Interested parties wishing to submit their questions, interest, and capabilities must do so in writing via email. Sources interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide convincing evidence that they possess the requisite expertise and experience to successfully perform the services as specified above. Oral and facsimile requests for information will be considered non-responsive. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of award. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Thomas.Conheady@fms.treas.gov no later than April 28, 2008.
