- Description
- NIH plans to issue a Request for Proposal for the below services: The awardee will provide parking services for the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This performance based contract includes: parking services (self-park and stacking) to the more than 18,000 employees at the NIH Bethesda Campus, the many companies who do business with NIH, its numerous visitors from around the world, and patients. This requirement is related to market research conducted under Reference-Number-263-2008-M(GO)-0044 that was posted on FedBizOpps. The anticipated performance period shall be for a basic period from September 1, 2008 date to August 31, 2009 with four (4) one year option periods. This procurement is full and open competition. All interested vendors are encouraged to submit a proposal. The anticipated release date of RFP NIHOD2008052 is late March 2008 with an anticipated proposal due date in late April 2008. This solicitation will also include a pre-proposal conference that will be held early April 2008. Potential Offerors may visit parking areas at their convenience (security procedures will apply entering the campus-see http://www.nih.gov/about/visitorsecurity.htm). The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet at the FedBizOpps website. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The contract specialist for this requirement is Mr. Ronald Banzon (phone number 301-402-0716).
