- MODIFICATION 01- HEREBY ISSUED TO FULLY REPLACE FEDBIZOPPS NOTICE POSTED ON APRIL 18, 2008. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC), Resource Assessment and Conservation Engineering (RACE) Division located in Seattle, WA require the services of a contractor to participate in scheduled 2008 summer research cruise aboard NOAA vessel to complete the project entitled "Modeling the target strength of Bering Sea Euphausiids". The research cruises will take place around May 30 or June 20, 2008 and will end Sept 30, 2009. This is a firm- fixed price contract with period of performance of 15 months from date of award. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen days of publication date of this notice. All responses must be in writing and delivery to fax number (206)527-7513 or email at maria.l.mendoza@noaa.gov by close of business on indicated response date in the RFQ. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov.
