- These projects are for trail construction and or maintenance of approximately 1.4 miles of trail and 0.5 mile of maintenance with spot aggregate in Gallatin County, IL and construct approximately 0.5 miles of trail with spot aggregate along with 2.5 miles of maintenance and reconstruction in Pope County IL. Work is in southern Illinois on the Hidden Springs Ranger District of the Shawnee National Forest. There will be a prebid meeting held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 10 am, location will be on Request for Quotes. All inquiries are to be directed to the Contracting Officer at (618) 253-7114. Solicitations are to be mailed to USDA Forest Service, Shawnee National Forest, 50 Highway, 145 South, Harrisburg, IL 62946. Project will be posted on Fed Biz Opps on 4/28/08.
