- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell VA Medical Center (VAMC), 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Michigan, 48201 intends to issue a solicitation requesting quotations for Residential Treatment Facility (Halfway House) services for beneficiaries for whom such care is specifically authorized by the VAMC. The contractor shall provide community based Halfway House residential care, treatment, and rehabilitative services for veterans, with particular focus on those suffering with some form of alcohol or drug abuse issues. It is anticipated that one, or multiple, firm fixed price contract(s) will be awarded for a base year period with provision for two (2) one year option periods. Solicitation documents will be available on or about May 12, 2008, and may be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.com. Requests for a hard copy of the solicitation shall be submitted, in writing, to the Contracting Officer, Patricia Fox, at patricia.fox2@va.gov or by facsimile to 313-576-1327. Service providers submitting offers in response to the solicitation must be physically located within the city limits of Detroit, Michigan and be licensed by the State of Michigan. The NAICS code for this procurement is 623220 Residential Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facilities. The associated size standard is $6.5 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years.
