- Description
- This contract contains the construction of rock crossings at 21 sites and the installation of a gate. The crossings are located on an existing roadbed and will be excavated to natural channel elevation. The bottom and side slopes of the crossings will be covered with geotextile, Tensar ® goegrid material and 6 inches of rockfill. Major items of work include an approximated: 541 tons of rockfill for crossings; 1,535 linear feet of Tensar Geogrid 1100, and 3,154 square yards of geotextile for side slopes of crossings. The performance time is 83 calendar days (including mobilization). The estimated price is in the range of $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. This solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizzops.gov, on or about May 7, 2008. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. Meet in the parking lot of St. Josephs Baptist Church. From Georgetown, South Carolina take Hwy 701 N. Fraser approximately 17 miles north and turn left onto Old Pee Dee Road. Follow Old Pee Dee Road approximately 3 miles. The small, white Church on the left will be St. Joseph’s Baptist Church. A map for the site showing location will be included at the end of the maps and drawings in the Request for Quotation package.
