- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared inaccordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitationwill not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Proposal No. W15QKN-08-R-0248. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intendsto solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability torespond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not arequest for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fivedays after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by theGovernment. A determination by the Government not to compete with thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within thediscretion of the Government. Information received will normally be consideredsolely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitiveprocurement. See numbered note 22.
