- This is the presolicitation notice for the requirement to provide Vehicle Operations and Consolidated Maintenance services at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY. This requirement is 100% setaside for 8(a) certified companies. The NAICS is 561210 with a small business size standard of $32.5 million. The anticipated solicitation release date is 16 May 2008 and the estimated closing date is 16 June 2008. The estimated site visit date is 4 June 2008. The period of performance for this requirement is for a base period from 16 Sept 2008 to 30 Sept 2009 followed by four option years. The solicitation will include the optional six month extension of services clause. The contract type will be firm fixed price. It will include some labor hour prices and some cost reimbursement CLINs for specified materials. Areas of work covered are vehicle and equipment maintenance, maintenance and repair of miscellaneous equipment, heavy equipment repair and vehicle operations. Vehicle operations consist of dispatching, recurring vehicle support, water trailers, contractor operated vehicles, post shuttle bus, airport/train services, vehicle recovery, tractor trailer service, special event and trip support, POL management, driver testing, maintenance and repair of vehicles leased from GSA/IFMS, and summer augmentation support.
