- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of one (1) each Gamma Irraditaor with Cobalt 60, with an initial charge in the range of 25,000 Curies (ci), the Gamma cell should achieve a center point dosage of 40 Kgy in 90 minutes or less, chamber capacity to be approximately one (1) gallon, the chamber to be fitted with a cooling system. This requirement includes on-site installation. Note: Funding for this requirement is not currently available. This is for process to point of award only. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the governments requirements. Submit written offers (oral offerers will not be accepted), on W911S6-08-T- 0022. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). North American Industrial Classification Standard 325188 (1,000 employees) applies to this procurement.
