- Description
- The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit offers in response to solicitation #W911SE-08-R-0014. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as a set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services) with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 Million. The requirement calls for the contractor to furnish all labor, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to provide a Strategic Communications Advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to include a competent, functional area expert with experience at the Theater Army level who has a thorough understanding of Strategic Communications and how it should be properly executed, organized, and evaluated. The Strategic Communications Advisor and SME shall: (1) serve as a principal advisor to the USARCENT Commanding General and Staff, and subordinate units on the development of a comprehensive Strategic Communications Plan and Program, (2) observe and provide feedback to the USARCENT Commanding General, Staff and subordinate units, and (3) shall be required to provide advice to the USARCENT Stafflocated in Atlanta, Georgia and at its forward Headquarters location in Camp Arifjan Kuwait. The resulting contract will be for a base period of six (6) months with one six (6)months option period. The solicitation will be made available to interested parties via Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI)at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm or Federal Business Opportunities at https://www.fbo.gov on or about 30 April 2008. This requirement will be issued as a commercial service. This agency shallconsider all proposals submitted by responsible sources. The government intends to award a contract on or about 15 May 2008.
