- Description
- Demo existing facilities for an Army Reserve Center (ARC) and construct a new two story building (approximately 63,267 gross square feet) and provide a pre-engineered combined Unit/Unheated Storage (UHS) building (approximately 24,090 gross square feet). The ARC will be permanent construction with reinforced concrete foundations and floor slabs, structural steel frames, masonry (CMU) veneer walls, modified Bitumen Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene(SBS) roof systems, and supporting mechanical (no mechanical equipment is allowed on the roof per FAA requirements) and electrical systems. The ARC will be equipped with Intrusion Detection System (IDS), smoke/fire detection and sprinkler systems, and elevator. Supporting facilities will include site preparation, site improvements, privately-owed vehicle (POV) parking, military equipment parking (MEP), Mobile Kitchen Trailer (MKT) Concrete Pad, and the necessary utilities for the project. The estimated price range is over $10,000,000. The basis for award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The estimated issue date is 29 April 2008 with an approximate due date of 29 May 2008.
