- This is a sole source announcement. No Request for Quotation (RFQ) will beprepared or made available. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, SanDiego (SPAWAR San Diego) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to L-3Communications/Klein Associates on a sole source basis to purchase thefollowing item: Item 1, L-3 Klein Series 1000 Small Target Detection Radar System, quantity 6each.Item 2, Radar Data Cable, uplink/downlink, 8515, quantity 700 meters.Item 3, Transformers MK2 Radar, 116-087NG002, P/N 8449, quantity 13 each. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Simplified AcquisitionProcedures. Numbered Note 22 applies except all responses to this sole sourceannouncement must be received within 3 days (in lieu of 45 days) from thedate of this advertisement.
