- Description
- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on behalf of and as an agent of the Division of Strategic National Stockpile (DSNS) for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will issue Request for Proposal (RFP)797-DSNS-0808 for Ciprofloxacin 500mg tablets in bottles of 100 each. The estimated requirement is 2,280,000 bottles of 100 each. The delivery period of this product shall be completed no later than December 2008. Companies that are not able to supply the requirement in full are encouraged to submit a production/delivery schedule supporting the December 2008 delivery requirement. This solicitation will be covered by the Trade Agreement Act however, cipro tabs manufactured in a non-designated country may be evaluated (if applicable). Offeror's must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed letter of commitment between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer. Solicitation No 797-DSNS-0808 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about April 18, 2008, with a closing date of May 2, 2008. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
