- A firm fixed price 3 Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is anticipated for the following items in support of the XM252 81 MM Mortar: Optical Bore Sight, NSN: 1240-00-152-3512, PN: 10549221; Mounting Bracket, NSN: 5340-00-706-8149, PN: 8579191. Minimum guaranteed quantity for the Optical Bore Sight is 115 each. There is no minimum guaranteed quantity for the Mounting Bracket. Contract max for the Optical Bore Sight is 2000 each. Contract max for the Mounting Bracketis 500 each. Proposed contract is 100% small business set aside. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 28 April 2008. Optical Bore Sight includes a telescope, elbow and a body made from aluminum castings. Parts include cell, eyepiece, lens, strap and clamp assemblies. The two piece steel case has cushioning made from unicellular polyethylene and an approximate size of six inches and five inches high. Mounting Bracket consists of ring, MS16624-5018; shoe, 8579211; brackey assy, 8579192; and screw, 8579191. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintaina bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior tothe date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
