- Furnish all materials and labor to fabricate and install " portable" welded metal/aluminum stairs, handrails, and ramps at two separate locations in South Eastern Montana. Quantity needed will be 3 sets of steps for the exit side of 3 existing trailers; 2 sets of ramps with deck and stairs attached; 1 deck with ramp and no stairs. Project will be located in two sites, one at the south end of the Miles City, Montana airport apron, Frank Wiley Field. One ramp and deck only, and one set of stairs shall be delivered to Camp Crook, SD, located in southwestern corner of South Dakota, approximately 43 miles Southeast of Ekalaka, MT (no assembly required). One set of deck, ramp and stair assemblies will be installed by the Contractor with the help of BLM personnel at the Airport in Miles City, MT. BLM will install the remainder of the stairs, deck and ramps. Price must include delivery to these two sites. This is set aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332311. The size standard is 500 employees. Estimated Price range will be $25,000 to $100,000. Period of performance will be 45 days. The solicitation will be posted on or about April 21, 2008. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on or about May 5, 2008. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. All contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive an award for contracts, agreements, or purchase orders, and to receive payment for awards. Contractors shall complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. CCR is a self-service database. Contractors register themselves and maintain their own information through the CCR website. Vendors can also access the ORCA registration on the CCR website.
