Description

Road 111 Resurfacing – Consists of preparing Road 111 for gravel placement by blading the surface and cleaning the ditches and catchbasins. Then hauling approx. 20,000 tons of stockpiled aggregate from the Brush Fork stockpile and placing it on Rd 111 for 5.6 miles of 1.5 to 2 lane road. Finally finish blading with roller compaction. The start of project is at MP 163.4 on State Highway 12 and MP 0.0 of Road 111, Elk Summit. From the Powell junction on Hwy 12 at MP 161.8 follow Hwy 12 1.6 miles to milepost 163.4 and the start of Rd 111. No pre-bid tour is planned. It is estimated the work may begin on July 7, 2008. All work must be completed by Sept. 30, 2008. Price estimate: $250,000-$500,000 This acquisition is set aside for competition restricted to HUBZone small business concerns. To be considered for award, you must be certified as a HUBZone small business concern by the Small Business Administration.
