- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to procure Process and Product Quality Assurance Management (PPQM) services on a full and open competitive basis. Specifically, the PPQM tasks to be performed under this effort include: determining and reporting compliance of critical Information Technology (IT) Solutions to established Office of Information Technology (OIT) processes; determining causes of process non-compliance and recommending remediation for non-compliance; ensuring contractor teams aer in compliance with applicable PBGC and federal government processes; establishing and maintaining processes that detail how the contractor performs work; implementing a program for guiding IT Solution Teams on increasing their level of compliance; verifying and validating IT Solutions independently with the risk of the IT Solution warrants. The period of performance will include a 12 month base year with four (4) 12 month option periods to be exercised at the discretion of PBGC. The PBGC anticipates awarding a cost type contract as a result of this RFP. The incumbent contract (PBGC01-CT-04-0707) is currently being performed by Keane Federal Systems, McLean, VA. The solicitation is not currently available, but is estimated to be available on or about April 28, 2008. The solicitation document, including any amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and associated amendments will not be made available. See Note 26
