- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to perform cleaning of the interior and exterior windows, window frames and sashes at the VA Medical Center (VAMC), 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504. The anticipated Period of Performance is for a one (1) year base with four (4) option periods, for a total period of 60 months. The Contractor shall perform during the base year, from date of award through year 2012 and from April 1 to September 15 of each award period. Pre-bid site visit will be held on April 28, 2008 at 1:00pm local time at the VAMC, Erie, PA Building #1, Conference Room #2 (2nd Floor). Windows and window frames shall also be cleaned and left free from dirt, streaks, water compounds and other substances. The NAICS Code is 561720 and the size standard is $15 million. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of this solicitation. This acquisition is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and www.vetbiz.gov as an SDVOSB to be considered for award. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms as there is a reasonable expectation that two or more offers will be received under this solicitation.
