Description
The Naval Inventory Control Point is soliciting for a Repair Long Term Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. This contract will include a base year of one year and 4 one year option periods. This long term contract will be for the repair coverage of 8 components used to support the H-1 helicopter and P-3 aircraft. The components are as follows:H-1 Items:1)Linkage Assembly, Gunner, NIIN 005734737, Total Max qty for all five years-5 2)Arm Assembly, Gunner, NIIN 005735085, Total Max qty for all five years-410 3)Linkage Assembly, Pilot, NIIN 005735209, Total Max qty for all five years-38 4)Arm Assembly Pilot, NIIN 005735222, Total Max qty for all five years-210 5)Electronic Component, NIIN 005780721, Total Max qty for all five years-233 P-3 ITEMS:1) Antenna, Omnidirecti, NIIN 015217277, Total Max qty for all five years-36 2) Receiver-Transmitter, NIIN 015217278, Total Max qty for all five years-120 3) Modem Communication, NIIN 015217281, Total Max qty for all five years-120 L-3 Communications Corp System West(06401)in Salt Lake City, UT is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the government. The subject items require government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are considered flight critical and the technical data package is not available. Only the source(s) previously approved by the government for this item have been solicited. The time required approval for a new source is normally such that an award can not be delayed pending approval of a new source.
