- Description
- NOTE: All responses to this RFQ shall be mailed to Western AreaPowerAdministration, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland, CO 80539-3003 Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, has a requirementforthe services of a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools,equipment, and other resources necessary to complete this requirement. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal and trimming of a number oflargetrees (including some in excess of 40 inches in diameter and 70 feet inheight)along electrical transmission line right-of-ways in order to provideadequateline clearance and access to the transmission lines. The contractor willberequired to perform tree trimming and functions as needed at any locationalongthe Rocky Mountain Regional Office's transmission line rights-of-way inColorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming. For the work to be performed under thiscontract, a 2-man crew is considered to consist of a Foreman and (1) oneJourneymen Level Trimmer, an aerial lift, a brush chipper, and a pickuptruck,to trim and/or remove trees as required by Western. The following factorsshall be used to evaluate quotes: technical expertise/personnelqualifications, experience, past performance and price. The solicitationwillbe issued under full and open competition (unrestricted). The NAICS Codeis561730 and the applicable size standard is $6.0 Million. The solicitationwillbe issued electronically on or about April 14, 2008 at this site. Contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to beconsidered for award. Contractor's CCR registration MUST include the NAICS code specified above.
