- A request has been put into Western Regional Contracting Office on 2 April 2008 by the Information Management Division for a move of FDA approved Data Acquisition System (DAS) boxes that transmit baby vitals from the bedside unit to CIS/Essentris allowing staff to monitor baby vitals real-time. At the same time, this move will involve an upgrade of current DAS boxes to a more reliable model which translates to better patient care. The Vendor will have to not only move these boxes but configure them to support the L&D and renovation projects. CliniComp is the owner and manufacturer for CIS/Essentric, and the hardware and labor for this request is specifically for CIS/Essentric. No other vendor is authorized to perform this task by making changes to the system. CliniComp has proprietary rights to the software used in the government-owned equipment at Madigan Army Medical Center. It is recommended that award be made to CliniComp as a sole source award based on the criteria identified above.See Note 22.
