Description
The assigned Request for Proposal (RFP) number for Combatant Craft, Medium (CCM) is H92222-08-R-0032. The Government has determined that the upcoming RFP will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. As stated in the previous Request for Information RFI-CCPMO-CCM8, in order to obtain the RFP and perform the effort, a clearance up to the Secret level is required. No classified information will be released/discussed prior to obtaining at least a minimum of an interim [secret] clearance. To assist potential small business offerors in meeting the security requirements, USSOCOM in coordination with DSS will facilitate clearing up to eight companies. Small businesses, requiring sponsorship for clearance(s), are being provided the opportunity to submit a response to the above referenced RFI. If your company previously responded to the RFI, you need not resubmit a paper unless your situation has changed, i.e., teaming arrangements, clearance assistance, etc., however, you must respond with a completed facility clearance request if one is needed Any changes or request for clearance sponsorship must be submitted to the Contracting Officer. Contact the Contracting Officer via email for a copy of the Facility Security Clearance Request form to be submitted in either instance. Selection of the eight companies will be based on best value of current and potential technical capabilities in meeting the outlined requirements of the RFI. Please understand that USSOCOM sponsorship is no guarantee that the necessary clearances will be obtained, this is between DSS and your company. In addition, please provide your concurrence or nonconcurrence to release your contact info to other RFI respondents, potential offerors, and/or subcontractors/team members. Change from the previous RFI is that the electronic responses in PDF or standard commercial format should be sent to: Sandra Smith, Contracting Officer, Phone 813-826-7335, Fax 813-826-7504, email: smiths1@socom.mil. This is a request for information only and may or may not result in the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this notice may not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. If you choose to submit proprietary information, mark it accordingly. Classified information will be accepted, but please mark it accordingly and send it via proper channels. All responses are due no later than 45 days after this announcement date.
