- This proposed action will provide for the procurement of light refreshments(NAICS: 722320 $6.5M)in 46 meeting rooms to include 1 luncheon room and 1 operations center (office), over a span of six consecutive days/nights. The 2008 Chaplain Summit is to be held at the Hyatt Regency, 400 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC. The proposed event is to take place May 24 to June 1, 2008. Delivery location is CONUS. The Air Force District of Washington, Acquisition Division/A7KH, Contracts Office intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed-price contract with Hyatt Regency. They are the only provider allowed to distribute catered refreshments on their premises. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services in accordance with FAR 6.302-1; The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1); Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate. All requests for further information must be in writing and via email to the above address, telephone requests for additional information will not be honored. Acknowledgement of receipt will be issued.
