- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source" with Accellos, Inc., 90 S. Cascade Ave, #1200, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. SSA requires enhancements to the existing application as well as the creation of new reports and features for Radio Beacon WMS software currently installed and in use as follows: at 6301 Security Blvd, Baltimore, MD and at 5107 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church. Accellos produced the Online Supply Ordering System and the source code for the software is proprietary. Accellos is the only company with the knowledge, skills, and access to the source code to make the modifications to the software. In Baltimore, the software solution provides the logistics support for SSA's supply management, customer ordering, and warehouse operations. The system has been in place since 1998 and is currently integrated within SSA's Inventory Management and Intranet Supply Ordering modules that were developed by Radio Beacon Inc. In Virginia, the software solution provides the logistics support for SSA's for tracking files. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A solicitation is NOT available. Therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
