- Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to VGA, Inc., 14625 Baltimore Ave, Suite 288, Laurel, MD. 20707. VGA, Inc. shall provide Non-Emergent Patient Transportation for ambulatory and wheelchair patients to the beneficiaries for the VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI. This proposed interim contract action is for services mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-2 for a period of two months with two-two month options. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract is based upon Unusual and Compelling Urgency. See numbered note 22. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
