- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00189-08-Q-PL28. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-24 and DFARS Change Notice 20080303. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 423830 and the Small Business Standard is 500. This is a competitive, unrestricted action]. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: WilLift Vertical Reciprocating Lift. The lift must meet the following specifications: Overall Size: No Larger that 6’ x 6’x 7’ Clear in Carriage x 15’ 2” of lift, Overall Capacity: At Least 3,000 Pounds, Load Configuration: Z Load/Unload lift at the mezzanine edge and is floor service mounted, Overall Mast Height: 19’-0”, Type of Controls: Hydraulic, Style of Lift: Straddle, Platform: Smooth Deck 6’x6’x7’ High Effective platform, Carriage Style Guards: Expanded Metal 60” High on 2 Sides and snap chains across operating ends, Minimum Clear Height: 9’-0” required at upper level (not including hoisting/rigging clearance, Lift Speed: at least 20 (fpm) but not more than 25 (fpm), Control Panel: NEMA 12, Control Voltage: 24 Volts, Motor: 5 H.P 460/3/60 T.E.F.C, Push! Button Stations: 2-3 button momentary contact self-maintained NEMA 4, Gates: Included with Interlocks, Warranty: At a minimum-5 years on parts and labor on structural components and 1 year on parts and 90 days on labor for non structural The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 and its ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items 52.219-8, 52.219-14, 52.222-19, 52.223-15, and 52.225-13.
