- Description
- The intent of this modification is to further articulate/clarify the Government's requirement. The information that has been previously provided is a baseline for what the Government desires. Companies are encouraged to submit their product information that is similar, meets, or exceeds the specifications provided. The Government used Motorola products as a baseline due to their familiarity with the product, specifically, Motorola's Model I, ASTRO XTS 5000, XTVA Transportable Base Station, and Quantar Station Repeater. MARSOC is not endorsing this product. The intent of the sources sought is to find companies that can provide hand-held radios with similar capabilities. The market research conducted will be used to assist in making an informed decision on what capabilites exist in the market place and whether or not a formal solicitation should be issued.
